I have a requirement that the bad pixel map shall be viewed as an overlay of each image to verify that the region of interest is free of bad pixels that could mask a defect. Is this something that is automatically done in the software? Or does it have to be manually completed with each image?

Hello Joe,

the answere would depend on the software you are using. I know in minimum one software which could do such an overlay with one mouseclick.
But there are a lot of different softwares on the market - if you really need this feature you should select the software which can do so.
